There are two sides to the coin: Sharir Rachana and Sharir Kriya (Anatomy and Physiology). Sharir Rachana, and Sharir Kriya were never taught separately in Ayurveda. One of the main ideas of Ayurveda is srotas. According to the saying "sroto aium purusha," the human body is composed of several srotas. A srota is a conduit that exclusively transports dhatu during metabolic transformation. A wide variety of srotas have been mentioned by various authors. According to Acharya Sushrut, a srotas is a tubular organ or structure that starts the fluid material's flow from the body's inside to its exterior.
