FORMATION OF AWARE CONSCIOUS PARENTHOOD OF YOUTH

The article clarifies the basics of forming conscious parenting of young people. The relevance of one of the most complex and underdeveloped areas of modern science is revealed - conscious parenthood in which youth is the main human resource for reproduction, preservation and improvement of quantitative and qualitative indicators of the population of Ukraine, while remaining the main source of education and personality formation. The purpose of the article is to find out the basics of forming conscious parenting of young people. Parenthood combines a set of knowledge, ideas, skills and beliefs about the role of the father, which is manifested in the behavior and activities of fatherhood and in the creation of the father and mother conditions for the full development, upbringing and education of the child. This phenomenon includes the components interpreted in the article. The form of developed parenthood, ie conscious parenthood, contains several components, which are disclosed in the article: the value orientations of the couple; parental attitudes and expectations; parental attitude; parental feelings; parental positions; parental responsibility and style of family upbringing, each of which includes cognitive (self-awareness as parents, ideas about ideal parents, knowledge of parental functions), emotional (subjective parental feelings, attitude to the child, to the husband / wife as the father of a common child) and behavioral (skills, abilities and activities of parents in caring for, providing, raising and educating a child, relationship with a spouse and family upbringing style) components that can act as individual phenomena and interconnected subsystems in the system of “parenthood”. Socially necessary parental qualities (attention to the child, responsibility for the child, kindness towards the child, decency in everything, observation in the surrounding society, empathy and love for children, tolerance for all, etc.) are highlighted. Five forms of parenting are considered.
