Værkdatering: 1917 afsluttet: dokumenteret. Værket har først været dateret til 1907, men dette er sikkert en fejlskrivning for 1917. Weie besøgte ikke Christiansø før 1911. Desuden var værket udstillet på den Frie Udstilling i 1918. Der kan ikke dokumenteres noget tidligere ejerforhold , hvorfor alt peger på, at værket er malet i 1917
