IN MEMORY OF THE SCIENTIST AND MENTOR (THE MEMORY OF DOCTOR OF PHILOLOGICAL SCIENCES, PROFESSOR RAISA KHALILOVNA KHALIKOVA IS 90 YEARS OLD)

The Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after Miftakhetdin Akmulla hosted an All-Russian scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of a prominent scientist of Bashkir and Turkic linguistics, Doctor of Philology, Professor Raisa Khalilovna Khalikova. The study of the historical development of any language requires reference to documentary sources. Those for the history of the Bashkir language are written monuments, which include shezhere, official documents (reports, orders, decrees, bills of sale, petitions, protocols of interrogations and witness testimony), private correspondence, etc. Raisa Khalilovna made a huge contribution to the scientific understanding of the Bashkir language, its history and development, and analyzed the language of Bashkir written monuments of the XVIII-XIX centuries. Her works became the foundation for subsequent research in the field of Turkology and Bashkir linguistics. The conference was attended by scientists, educators and scientists from different regions – from the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Uzbekistan, including Karakalpakstan, as well as the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Tatarstan, Murmansk region, teachers of Bashkir language and literature, Tatar language and literature of Gafuri district, graduate students, undergraduates, students and studenconference was attended by scientists, educators and scientists from different regions – from the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Uzbekistan, including Karakalpakstan, as well as the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Tatarstan, Murmansk region, teachers of Ba Russia. The Faculty of Bashkir Philology of Akmullinsky University regularly hosts scientific conferences and seminars dedicated to the bright memory of the honorary mentor, the famous Bashkir linguist, textual critic and historian of the literary language, linguometodist, teacher of higher education, Doctor of Philology, Professor Raisa Khalilovna Khalikova.
