Rev.: Full-length figure of emperor on l., and of St. Demetrius, beardless and nimbate, holding between them cross-within circle, surmounting triangular decoration on long shaft. Emperor wears stemma, divitsion, and chlamys. Saint wears short military tunic, breastplate and sagion; holds sword in l. hand, resting over shoulder.
