Zusammenfassung:Es wird über eine resistenzgeschwächte Patientin mit Fieberschüben bericbtet, bei der Yarrowia lipolytica aus der Blutkultur und der Venenkatbeterspitze isoliert wurde. Die pathogenetische Bedeutung der Befunde wird erörtert.Summary:Yarrowia lipolytica, the perfect state of Candida lipolytica was cultured from blood and intravenous katheter of a compromised patient with recurrent fever. The importance of this rare opportunistic infection is discussed.
