En Obra Escogida, a través de Ediciones Universidad de Salamanca, Jorge Diego Sánchez selecciona fragmentos de la obra de Rokeya Sakhawat Hossain (1880-1932), los cuales traduce por primera vez al español. Esta edición crítica, además de las traducciones, incluye un prólogo de Barnita Bagchi así como un texto crítico, introducción y biografía de Rokeya redactados también por el traductor, que sirven para comprender la figura de esta autora y disfrutar de sus escritos con una predisposición más contextualizada.
