Cooper Seijkens' career began with making black-and-white street portraits during the time he traveled around the United States with his father. All at the age of 17. The images he captured during these travels were the ones that defined the beginning of his career. People wanted him to copy the same style, essence, and mannerisms of this travel photography to famous people living in the Netherlands. At the age of 19, he decided to study at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague.
