Atypical phenotype associated with deletion (15) (pter → q11::q13 → qter)
View through CrossRef
AbstractWe report on a 10‐year‐old boy with an interstitial deletion within the region of bands 15q11 → q13. Authors have associated the manifestation of the Prader‐Willi syndrome (PWS) with variable deletions involving the bands q11 → q13. Our patient had atypical manifestations not usually associated with PWS, ie, normal stature, proportionally sized hands and feet, normal genitalia, and was nonambulatory and severely mentally retarded. This case emphasized the clinical diversity seen in proximal 15q deletions in the region considered to be correlated with the PWS.

Overlapping phenotype of Wolf–Hirschhorn and Beckwith–Wiedemann syndromes in a girl with der(4)t(4;11)(pter;pter)
AbstractWe report on an 8‐month‐old girl with a novel unbalanced chromosomal rearrangement, consisting of a terminal deletion of 4p and a paternal duplication of terminal 11p. Each...

First non‐mosaic case of isopseudodicentric chromosome 18 (psu idic(18)(pter → q22.1::q22.1 → pter) Is associated with multiple congenital anomalies reminiscent of trisomy 18 and 18q− syndrome
AbstractIsopseudodicentric chromosome 18 is very rare and results in a combination of partial trisomy and partial monosomy of chromosome 18. We report here a hypotrophic newborn wi...
