Marble slab (altar front?), walled on the northern side of St. Mark's Cathedral in Venice, depicting the Throne of the Second Coming or Hetoimasia. It bears a double-armed cross and a lamb in a clipeus above, as a symbol of Jesus Christ. The Throne is flanked by twelve lambs, symbols of the Apostles, and by two palm trees at the ends.
