Los estudios sobre las mujeres en época moderna son relativamente escasos parael conjunto de los tres territorios. A fin de intentar enriquecer dicho déficit historiográfico,proponemos una breve reflexión sobre la autoridad femenina en el sigloXVIII. In an attempt to fill this historiographic gap, we are proposinga brief look at feminine authority in the 18th century. Using this analysis,we outline how new approaches opened up that consider these women as takingpart in an as-yet incomplete story.
