Fuel efficiency of KAMAZ R6 engine in different operating modes

View through CrossRef
The issues of environmental friendliness and economy of vehicles are the most relevant today. This article is devoted to solving the problem of increasing the fuel efficiency of the diesel engine. The dependence of fuel consumption on selected transmission of automatic transmission and used engine rpm is reflected. Test runs were carried out at KAMAZ-54901 with a R6 engine. Test results showed that it is more economical to force lifts by withstanding the torque shelf in an economical automatic transmission mode (950...1050 rpm.).
