Explaining Phenomena

There are various phenomena to do with visual experiences and their characters that a theory of visual experience ought to allow for and, even better, be able to explain. In Chapter 10 the author considered one of these phenomena, in the form of the many property problem. In Chapter 11 the author considers various other such phenomena, and the extent to which the theory that has been developed in the book can allow for and explain them. He draws frequently upon the particular way in which we have been understanding the nature of ways of looking in the previous chapters.
