CHARACTERIZATION OF ELECTRIC BIKE HAND THROTTE

View through CrossRef
The selection of an electric motorcycle is determined based on its intended use and safety. An important part of an electric motorcycle is the hand throttle which determines the characteristics of the motorcycle. Throttle characterization is done by rotating the hand throttle every 5° and measuring the output voltage produced with a microcontroller sp32 based voltage measuring instrument and a 360° goniometer. For the measurement of 4 sets of hand throttles, a standard deviation of 0.0114 volts - 0.0128 volts and a standard error of 0.0036 volts - 0.0041 volts were obtained. The results of data processing with MS Excel obtained the relationship between the throttle output voltage and the throttle rotation, where each throttle has different characteristics that can be distinguished from the initial, middle, final speed and slope. There are 4 types of throttles, for everyday use with a less responsive throttle (throttle 3), for professional users with a responsive throttle (throttle 4) and for driving comfort (throttle 1 or 2).

0128 volts and a standard error of 0.
0036 volts - 0.
0041 volts were obtained.
The results of data processing with MS Excel obtained the relationship between the throttle output voltage and the throttle rotation, where each throttle has different characteristics that can be distinguished from the initial, middle, final speed and slope.
