Reclassification of the tribe Ellescini (Coleoptera: Curculionidae)

System of the tribe Ellescini revised. New subgenera, Pseudorytomus Legalov, subgen. nov. (type species: Curculio dorsalis Linnaeus, 1758) and Orolamus Legalov, subgen. nov. (type species: Dorytomus inexpectatus Korotyaev, 1976) of the genus Olamus Reitter, 1916, Arctolamus Legalov, subgen. nov. (type species: Dorytomus imbecillus Faust, 1883), Eudorytomus Legalov, subgen. nov. (type species: Erirhinus suratus Gyllenhal, 1835), Populolamus Legalov, subgen. nov. (type species: Curculio ictor Herbst, 1795), Mesodorytomus Legalov, subgen. nov. (type species: Erirhinus occallescens Gyllenhal, 1835) of the genus: Dorytomus Germar, 1817 are described. The subgenus Olamus Reitter, 1916, stat. nov. is elevated to genus status. New synonyms, Chaetodorytomus Iablokov-Khnzorian, 1970, syn. nov. to Dorytomus s. str. and Dorytomus ciliatus Iablokov-Khnzorian, 1970, syn. nov. to Dorytomus (Dorytomus) dentimanus Reitter, 1884, are established. A systematic list, distribution and trophic relationships are given. Keys for supraspecific taxa are compiled.
