Հիբրիդային պատերազմներ` անվտանգության նորագույն սպառնալիքներ/Hybrid Warfares: The Latest Security Threats
View through CrossRef
Recently, the concept of “hybrid warfare” has often been used in Armenian scientific fields, and some experts tend to consider the 44-day Armenian-Azerbaijan war of 2020 to be an integral part of hybrid warfare. Perhaps, this is close to reality; however, in this regard, it should be noted that the effective formation of a comprehensive model of resistance to hybrid actions against Armenia will be possible when the concept of “hybrid warfare” is not only included in the political discussion, but also it receives legal formulation (i.e., it will be reflected in the regulations). Meanwhile, in the legislation of
Armenia (in particular, in the military doctrine of the Republic of Armenia), there is no definition of the concept of “hybrid warfare”. However, unless scientists develop a unified approach to this phenomenon and formulate the main directions of its development, there will be no definition of this concept in legislation. The purpose of the paper is to formulate the concept of "hybrid warfare", to analyze hybrid actions as a separate type of conflict, and to expand the classification of modern military conflicts
