عني هذا البحث بدراسة التنوعات التصميمية في تكوينات الخط المغربي، إذ حظي الخط العربي باهتمام كبير من قبل الخطاطين، وتميز في تعدد أنواعه وأشكاله وأسمائه، مما يدل على التطور الذي شهده الخط العربي. فمن خلال سياق تلك التطورات جاء الخط المغربي ليعبر عن دور المغاربة ومساهمتهم في تطوره، واشتمل البحث على أربعة فصول، ضم الفصل الأول مشكلة البحث التي تمثلت بالتساؤل الآتي: ما التنوعات التصميمية في تكوينات الخط المغربي؟
وحدد الباحث هدف البحث وهو: الكشف عن التنوعات التصميمية في تكوينات الخط المغربي، بينما ضم الفصل الثاني مبحثين الأول: التنوع التصميمي في الخط المغربي، والثاني: بنائية التكوين في الخط المغربي، وتضمن الفصل الثالث اجراءات البحث، واعتمد فيه على المنهج الوصفي (طريقة تحليل المحتوى) إذ بلغ مجتمع البحث (51) أنموذجاً بالخط المغربي، وتم انتقاء عينة البحث بشكل قصدي بواقع (5) نماذج، ويلي ذلك تحليل العينات وفق أداة البحث المتمثلة باستمارة التحليل التي أكد صحتها مجموعة من المختصين في هذا الميدان، ثم تلا بعدها الفصل الرابع الذي اشتمل على النتائج والاستنتاجات والتوصيات والمقترحات.
