Pelatihan dan Perakitan Mesin Sanding dengan Penggerak Motor Listrik untuk Operator di PT Rekayasa Unggul Indonesia

The demand for motor vehicle components continues to increase in line with the development of the automotive industry and high customer demand. This condition requires manufacturers to make various innovations in increasing production capacity, speeding up processes, and reducing defect values (Not Good) in order to remain competitive in the market. One of the important processes in making components is sanding, which is the stage of smoothing the surface using sandpaper, both by manual and machine methods. The manual sanding process has several limitations, including varying accuracy of results, relatively slow processing speed, and a higher risk of work accidents. Therefore, more efficient, safe, and consistent technology is needed in producing optimal product quality. In order to answer these challenges, PT. Reingeniería Unggul Indonesia held a training program as well as the assembly of sanding machines with electric motor drives. The result of this activity is in the form of one sanding machine unit with a production capacity of 250 pcs per shift, with the lowest defect rate of only 2.6%. The machine is designed to improve work efficiency, reduce reliance on manual processes, and provide more precise smoothing results. The success of this program not only improves the quality of production, but also contributes to the improvement of employees' technical skills in operating modern machines. With this innovation, the company can meet the increasingly high market demand, while maintaining consistent product quality. In the future, this electric motor-based sanding machine is expected to be a sustainable solution for the automotive component industry that prioritizes speed, quality, and work safety.
