يهتم البحث بدراسة المثير الحسي ودورهُ في فهم وتفسير المنتج الصناعي المعاصر ، تحددت مشكلة البحث بالتساؤل التالي : ما هي طبيعة المثير الحسي ودورهُ في فهم وتفسير المنتج الصناعي المعاصر؟ وتحدد هدف البحث في الكشف عن المثير الحسي ودوره في تصميم المنتج الصناعي المعاصر ، كما تضمن البحث الكلمات المفتاحية ( المثير الحسي ، الفهم والتفسير)
تضمن الإطار النظري على مبحثين كان الاول بعنوان المثير الحسي ودورهٌ في فهم وتفسير المنتج الصناعي المعاصر ، آما المبحث الثاني فقد كان بعنوان المثير الحسي ودور في فهم وتفسير المنتج الصناعي المعاصر.
هذا وتوصل البحث إلى نتائج واهمها :- يمثل المثير الحسي وجوداً أساسياً في تصميم المنتج الصناعي المعاصر وهو غالباً ما يضع المتلقي أو المستخدم على صورة من التوازن المعرفي مع المنتج الصناعي المعاصر ،آما اهم الاستنتاجات منها ( جاء ترابط الفهم والتفسير من خلال العلاقة الترابطية بينهما بوساطة المثير الحسي في المنتج الصناعي وبنسبة 80%) ، كما توصل البحث إلى جملة توصيات ومقترحات .
