Vodní měkkýši Novohradky [Aquatic molluscs of the Novohradka River]
View through CrossRef
This paper presents results of a malacological survey of the Novohradka River, a small river in the Pardubice Region (Czech Republic, Eastern Bohemia, tributary of the Chrudimka River). Fifteen species of aquatic molluscs (7 gastropods, 8 bivalves) were found at 13 sites during the research realised in 2015 and 2017. The research was focused on the population of the endangered bivalve Unio crassus and its recent occurrence was confirmed at four sites, though its population density is low. Fortunately this population is connected with more numerous population in the Chrudimka River.
