Receptor-Effector Coupling

Abstract
This second book in the trio describes techniques for analysing the signalling mechanisms of neurotransmitter and hormone receptors. Specific practical guidance is provided in the measurement of the main varieties of receptor response. The book also provides a guide to the science behind the protocols, and includes contributions from some of the most active scientists in this diverse field. It is the first time that this range of techniques have been brought together in such a coordinated manner.
