Christl Mudraks erste monografische Publikation widmet sich ihrem künstlerischen Werk der letzten zwei Jahrzehnte. Das Buch ist Spurensuche und zugleich Fährtenleger einer künstlerischen Praxis, die den simplifizierenden Mustern der Kunstgeschichtsschreibung widerspricht und eine institutionelle Aneignung erschwert. Schwerpunkte von Mudraks Arbeit sind neben dem Schaffen von Erfahrungsräumen und partizipatorisch-performativer Malerei das Erforschen von Potenzialen kollaborativen Arbeitens im tiefen Verständnis der Gleichberechtigung von Mensch, Tier und Natur. Mittels dieser Monografie wird Mudraks oft ephemere Kunst nicht nur sichtbar, sondern aufs Neue erfahrbar gemacht.
