УЧИТЕЛЬ ВЛАДИМИР НИКОЛАЕВИЧ ДАХНОВ

В 2025 году исполняется 120 лет со дня рождения Владимира Николаевича Дахнова, выдающегося ученого и педагога, основателя кафедры геофизических информационных систем РГУ нефти и газа (НИУ) имени И.М.  Губкина. В.Н. Дахнов являлся основателем первой в мире кафедры промысловой геофизики, основоположником уникальной научной школы в области геофизических исследований скважин, автором фундаментальных учебников для вузов, одним из создателей науки петрофизики. Коллектив кафедры геофизических информационных систем гордится быть выпускниками и последователями научной школы В.Н. Дахнова, чтит заложенные традиции и продолжает обучать студентов согласно учению и примеру основателя. В статье описывается краткая биография В.Н. Дахнова, его личностные и профессиональные качества, воздается должное его заслугам перед наукой и отечеством. Отдельное внимание уделяется ученикам В.Н. Дахнова, продолжателям его научной школы. The year 2025 marks the 120th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Nikolaevich Dakhnov, an outstanding scientist and teacher, founder of the Department of Geophysical Information Systems at the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University). V.N. Dakhnov was the founder of the world’s first department of geophysical well logging, the founder of a unique scientific school of geophysical well logging, the author of fundamental textbooks for universities, and one of the founders of the science of petrophysics. Specialists of the Department of Geophysical Information Systems are proud to be graduates and continuers of the scientific school of V.N. Dakhnov, honor the established traditions and continue to teach students according to the teachings and example of the founder. The article describes a brief biography of V.N. Dakhnov, his personal and professional qualities, pays tribute to his services to science and the fatherland. Special attention is paid to the students of V.N. Dakhnov, the continuers of his scientific school.
