This essay reviews recent work on Katherine Mansfield published around the centenary of her death. Texts include The Edinburgh Edition of the Collected Letters of Katherine Mansfield, Vol. 3: Letters to John Middleton Murry, 1912-1918, edited by Claire Davison and Gerri Kimber; Claire Harman’s biography All Sorts of Lives and the accompanying edition of stories chosen by Harman, Wild Places: Selected Stories; Redmer Yska’s Katherine Mansfield’s Europe, Station to Station; and Selected Stories of Katherine Mansfield: A Manuscript Critical Edition, edited by Todd Martin. Each essay is considered both individually and in relation to the other texts being reviewed to show how the new scholarship offers fresh perspectives on Mansfield’s life and work.
