John Middleton Murry’s Unfinished Second Volume of Autobiography

View through CrossRef
Parts of John Middleton Murry's unpublished 1947 sequel to his autobiography Between Two Worlds are well known to Mansfield scholars through F.A. Lea's extensive quotation from them in his biography of Murry.  But the original manuscript held at the Turnbull Library in Wellington appears to have been unknown to scholars until now.  The section reproduced here concerns the death of Katherine Mansfield and the "possession" by Mansfield of Murry's second wife, Violet Le Maistre.
