AbstractTaxonomic studies on the four subfamilies of Erebidae were carried out during 2015–16. During this study six species were documented from family Erebidae among which three species in Achaea, Culasta and Ophiusa were belongs to subfamily Calpinae. Whereas, from three subfamilies (1 species each) viz., Erebinae in Pandesma, Eublemminae in Eublemma and Scolioptryginae i.e. Anomis were collected from light traps as well as reared from its host plants. The morphological characters and external genitalic attributes were studied in detail and supplemented with photographs.
