Karl Rahner Hayatı Eserleri ve Teolojisi

The Life, Works and Theology of Karl Rahner rnKarl Rahner is one of the theologians who left marks on the XX. Century. He designated the main character of the II. Vatican Council with his attitude about the salvation of unbelievers and the believers of other religions. He is seen as the originator of inclusivism. Rahner called the believers of other religions as “anonymous Christians” and stated that they can attain the sal-vation in Christ’s grace. Rahner, who is at the same time one of the defenders of the group New Theology (Nouvelle Théologie), criticized the Catholic Church and expressed that the church is degenerating. So accordingly to overcome this degeneration church must turn back to the works of patristic era. In our thesis, we centered the attitudes of Rahner about church, revelation and salvation and the resources of these attitudes. Also it is examined the attitudes of Clement, Tertullian, Origen and Augustine about church, revelation and salvation. Henri de Lubac, Yves Congar, Edward Schillebeeckx and Hans Küng, who are the contemporaries of Rahner, are examined with their ideas about church, revelation and salvation. rnKeyword: Karl Rahner; II.
