Knowledge With Anxiety Level Of Pre-Menopausal Women In Facing Menopause

Menopause is a natural process that every women goes trhough. Before menopauseoccurs, it is usually preceded by a pre-menopausal phase. In the pre-menopausal period leading to menopause, it will cause anxiety because of which does not exist information aboutmenopause. Therefore, it is obligatory to increase knowledge so that all women are ready to face menopause and do not experience anxiety. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between education with anxiety levels of pre-menopausal women to deal with menopause in West Ambarawa Village, Ambarawa District in 2022. The design used in this study an analytical Survey with transversal approach. While sampling using purposive sampling technique from a total of 50 respondents. The instruments used are knowledge questionnaire sheets and HRS-AData analysis results using the chi-square test found significance with a p value of 0.003 or <0.05. This suggests a relationship between the level of pre-menopausal women anxiety in facing menopause in Ambarawa Barat, Ambarawa District, Pringsewu Regency in 2022. in concluded that the higher knowledge will greatly affect the anxiety of pre-menopausal women who will face menopause. Health professionals, especially nurses, are expected to provide menopause education to increase knowledge in pre-menopausal women.
