Narrative Literature Review: Pengaruh Traffic Locus of Control Terhadap Risky Driving Behaviour

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh antara Traffic Locus of Control (TLoC) dan perilaku mengemudi berisiko. Kecelakaan lalu lintas merupakan penyebab kematian nomor delapan di dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Locus of control adalah faktor psikologis yang mempengaruhi perilaku individu. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala Traffic Locus of Control yang mengukur locus of control dalam konteks mengemudi. Namun, masih belum banyak penelitian yang membahas terkait pengaruh/hubungan Traffic Locus of Control dan Risky Driving Behaviour. Hasil kajian literatur menunjukkan bahwa hanya dimensi self dari locus of control internal yang berkorelasi positif dengan perilaku mengemudi berisiko, sedangkan tidak ada satupun dimensi LoC eksternal yang dapat memprediksi perilaku mengemudi berisiko. Penelitian terkait Traffic Locus of Control dan Risky Driving Behaviour masih perlu terus dikaji supaya dapat membantu menurunkan angka kecelakaan lalu lintas.
