The volume presents materials from the first instalment of a series of conferences under the collective title "Hinc Omnia. Historical, Artistic and Special Collections in Libraries and Other Cultural Institutions". The bilingual (Polish-English) and trilingual (Polish-English-Russian) articles are devoted to the curation, preservation, and circulation of nineteenth-century collections, including collections of books, art, music, and manuscripts, as well as special collections, like those of photographic albums or herbaria.
