Nudes. 1918. Charcoal and pencil on paper. 36.4 x 27.2. Coloured representational composition depicting two nude female figures in front and side views, rendered in different scales and poses. The left and smaller one is shown standing, with the torso resting on the right main leg and the left one slightly bent and has passed her right hand behind her head and the left one bent at the waist. The right figure is rendered seated on the left hip, with the legs folded in the same direction and the upper torso bent slightly to the right. Her right hand, bent at the elbow and resting on her right thigh, supports her head. Her left hand, resting on the ground, helps support her body. The composition is displayed on a single, neutral background. An inscription can be seen at the bottom right (see also Inscriptions). Post Avant-Garde.
