PENGARUH PENERAPAN WELCOME BOOK TERHADAP PENURUNAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PASIEN ICVCU RSUD IR. SOEKARNO KABUPATEN SUKOHARJO

ABSTRAKKecemasanmerupakanmasalahumum yang seringdialamipasien di rumahsakit, terutama di unit perawatanintensifseperti Intensive Cardiovascular Care Unit (ICVCU). Tingkat kecemasan yang tinggidapatmempengaruhipenyembuhan dan adaptasipasien di lingkunganperawatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untukmengeksplorasipengaruhpenerapanwelcome booksebagaialatedukasidalammenurunkankecemasanpasien ICVCU RSUD Ir. Soekarno, KabupatenSukoharjo. Penelitian ini menggunakanmetodequasi-eksperimentaldenganpretest-posttest design. Sampel terdiridari 30 respondenkelompokintervensi yang menggunakanwelcome book dan 30 respondenkelompokkontrol yang tidakmenggunakanwelcome book. Tingkat kecemasandiukurmenggunakankuisionerHamilton Anxiety Rating Scale. Tehnikpengolahan data dengan Uji Mann-Whitney U Test. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkanbahwasebelumintervensi, kecemasankategorisedangmendominasi pada kelompokperlakuan (47%) dan kontrol (43%). Setelahintervensi, semuaresponden di kelompokperlakuan (100%) mengalamipenurunankecemasansignifikan (p=<0,001), sedangkan di kelompokkontrol, hanya 53,33% yang mengalamipenurunan. Hasil Analisa yang diperoleh(p= <0,001) <(0,005), sehinggadapatdisimpulkanbahwaterdapatpengaruh yang signifikansignifikanantarkelompokPenggunaanwelcome booksebagai media penerimaanpasienbaruterbuktiefektifmengurangikecemasanpasien di ICVCU. Intervensi ini dapatdijadikansebagai salah satuupayadalammeningkatkankualitaslayanan. Kata kunci: welcome book, kecemasan, pasien, keperawatan, edukasi.   THE IMPACT OF IMPLEMENTING A WELCOME BOOK ON REDUCING ANXIETY LEVELS IN ICVCU PATIENTS AT RSUD Ir. SOEKARNO, SUKOHARJO REGENCY ABSTRACTAnxiety is a common problem that patients often experience in hospitals, especially in intensive care units such as the Intensive Cardiovascular Care Unit (ICVCU). High levels of anxiety can affect the patient's healing and adaptation in the treatment environment. The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of the application of the welcome book as an educational tool in reducing the anxiety of ICVCU patients at Ir. Soekarno Hospital, Sukoharjo Regency. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 30 intervention group respondents who used the welcome book and 30 control group respondents who did not use the welcome book. Anxiety levels were measured using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale questionnaire. Data processing techniques with the Mann-Whitney U Test. The results showed that before the intervention, category anxiety was dominating in the treatment (47%) and control (43%) groups. After the intervention, all respondents in the treatment group (100%) experienced a significant reduction in anxiety (p=<0.001), while in the control group, only 53.33% experienced a decrease. The results of the analysis obtained (p= <0.001) <(0.005), so that it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between groups The use of welcome books as a medium for new patient admission has been proven to be effective in reducing patient anxiety in ICVCU.
