Landscape with view of Derwent water. From a high point the viewer looks down at the water. There are high, tree covered hills on all sides. Mostly in muted greens. The light is soft, with brighter sunlight on the right-hand side. Water colour drawing entitled "Derwentwater from Armathwaite", falsely signed "P. Sandby", and dated 1793, but by Thomas Walmesley. British School, 1793.
