MPAMBU NZILA E OS CORPOS MARGINALIZADOS COMO LUGARES DE CONSTRUÇÃO DE EPISTEMOLOGIAS LIBERTADORAS

This study seeks to understand how the experiences of historically marginalized bodies in Brazilian society can contribute to the construction of liberating epistemologies. To this end, Mpambu Nzila, a Bantu deity associated with crossroads, is adopted as a reference. The research, which follows a qualitative approach, is based on a bibliographic review and documental analysis, exploring how this entity can be mobilized as an epistemological reference in the formulation of emancipatory praxis. The article discusses the intersection between spirituality, cultural resistance, and the production of Afrocentric knowledge, highlighting the influence of the coloniality of knowledge in the exclusion of traditional knowledges. The study also investigates the impact of coloniality on power structures and public policies that perpetuate the marginalization of Black, peripheral, and LGBTQIAPN+ bodies. It argues that the reinterpretation of Mpambu Nzila can contribute to overcoming oppressive structures, valuing marginalized bodies in knowledge production, and emphasizing the need for concrete actions aimed at decolonizing knowledge and promoting historical reparations.
