Analysis of the determinants of Indonesian rubber exports

View through CrossRef
This study investigates the impact of domestic rubber prices, world rubber prices, rubber production volume, and exchange rates on the volume of Indonesian rubber exports from 2001 to 2021, both simultaneously and partially. Secondary data were collected from the Central Bureau of Statistics' website for the specified period. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, with hypothesis testing carried out through t-tests and F-tests. The findings reveal that, individually, domestic rubber prices, world rubber prices, and exchange rates do not significantly influence the volume of Indonesian rubber exports. However, rubber production volume demonstrates a significant effect. Simultaneously, domestic rubber prices, world rubber prices, rubber production volume, and exchange rates collectively have a significant impact on the volume of Indonesian rubber exports. These results underscore the critical role of production volume in driving export performance, offering valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders in the rubber industry.
