the article systematizes the activities of the Department of Sports and Physical Culture of the Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church over the last decade (2013-2014), describes the development of the main sports (mountain climbing, cycling, football) and sports events held on the initiative of the diocese and its direct organizational participation, describes the creation and development of football the Svetoch Club and the military-patriotic Heritage Club in Osh.
