[1] The provenance can be traced back to the Fete de la Palette exhibition at the Isaac Delgado Museum in 1962 in which the object was attributed to an Anonymous Seventeenth-Century Neapolitan Artist and was in the possession of the Durlacher Brothers.
[2] R. Kirk Askew Jr. managed the branch beginning in about 1923 until about 1969. The work was attributed to Felice Boselli at the time of the gift.
