Emphasis is placed on shared responsibility models, helping SMBs understand which security functions are handled by the cloud service provider and which remain their obligation. Ultimately, the study positions affordable cloud security not as a compromise but as a strategic enabler for SMB resilience. With the right mix of low-cost tools, best practices, and informed governance, SMBs can significantly enhance threat protection, safeguard customer trust, and support secure digital growth.
