El personaje de Grace en "Dogville" de Lars von Trier: continuidad y ruptura con los modelos de la tragedia clásica = The character of Grace in "Dogville" by Lars von Trier: continuity and breakup with the classic tragedy models

<em><em></em></em>El propósito de este artículo es analizar el personaje de Grace en "Dogville" de Lars von Trier en relación<br />con las heroínas de la tragedia griega clásica. Desde esta perspectiva se observan las similitudes existentes<br />entre el personaje fílmico y los modelos clásicos al tiempo que se constatan las características<br />específicas y diferenciadoras de esta heroína moderna.<br /><br />The aim of this paper is to study the character of Grace in Lars von Trier’s Dogville in relation with the<br />heroines of Ancient Greek tragedy. From this perspective, the similarities between the filmic character<br />and the classic models are observed while the specific and distinctive characteristics of this modern<br />heroine are confirmed.<br />Key words: Dogville, Grace, women, Greek Tragedy<p> </p>
