Ecología interior: “emparamar” la alfabetización ecológica. Sobre Niñapájaroglaciar de Mariana Matija

This article focuses on the inner ecology of Niñapájaroglaciar (2023) by Colombian writer-activist Mariana Matija, which, as a recent ecocritical essay, dissents from a discriminating ecology of, on the one hand, the interrelations of organisms in an energetic and material environment and balance called natural, and, on the other, the interactive coherence of human identities, faculties and individual behaviors. The theoretical corpus is made up of annotations on deep ecology, punctual reflections of Donna Haraway and Vinciane Despret, and other, more general, on the notion of Anthropocene, which tangle Matija’s thought, but surprisingly do not contaminate it. The close reading of Niñapájaroglaciar also resorts to an interview between the author and Carolina Sanín (2021). Reflections on dwelling in Despret and Vilém Flusser, concepts of interiority and exteriority in German-speaking philosophical anthropology (Helmuth Plessner et al.), are spliced to close with observations on the (situated) in/exteriority between páramo and patio.
