Analisis SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) Analysis of Urea Tablets Coated with Polycaprolactone

Latar belakang: Pengaruh pelapisan tablet urea yang dilapisi dengan polikaprolakton memperlambat pelepasan tablet urea sehingga urea yang diurai dapat bermanfaat. Tujuan: analisis SEM ( Scanning Electron Miroscopy ) berguna untuk melihat karakteristik dan kompatibilitas antara polimer penyalut polikaprolakton dengan urea. Metode: Penelitian eksperimen yaitu dilakukan pencetatakan urea granul menjadi tablet lalu dislut dengan polimer polikaprolakyon dan dianalisis menggnunakan SEM ( Scanning Electron Miroscopy ). Hasil: Dari setiap urea yang disalut memiliki ketebalan penyalutan yang bervariasi setiap formula. Pada tabel 3 dapat dilihat bahwa formula 5 dan formula 6 memiliki penyalut yang lebih tebal dibandingkan formula yang lainnya, karena memiliki persentase penyalut yang lebih besar yaitu 22,58 dan 25,17. Simpulan dan saran: Penggunaan penyalut polikaprolakton sebagai penyalut tablet urea memiliki kesesuaian untuk produksi tablet urea lepas lambat ,dimana semakin tebal lapisan penyalut semakin lama pelepasan urea didalam tablet khususya formula 5 dan formula 6
