Innovative Model of Scientific and Information Support for University Library Users
View through CrossRef
The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate and develop an innovative model of scientific and information support for university library users, which integrates digital resources, information services, and scientific communication support tools in order to improve the efficiency of access to scientific information and support the educational and research activities of users. Research methods: analysis and synthesis – generalisation of scientific approaches to scientific and information support and innovative activities of libraries; systematic method – for considering scientific and information support as an integrated system of interaction between resource, technological, and service components; modelling method – development of an innovative model of scientific and information support for university library users; structural and functional analysis – identification of the main components of the model and their interrelationships in the process of information support for scientific activities. The scientific novelty lies in the development of an innovative model of scientific and information support for university library users, based on the integration of digital resources, scientific communication services, personalised information services, digital literacy training, and analytical support for research activities. Conclusions. The transformation of scientific communication and the digitisation of information resources necessitate updating approaches to providing scientific and informational support to university library users. The proposed innovative model is based on the integration of several interrelated components: integrated access to digital resources, support for scientific communication, personalised information services, digital literacy training, analytical support, and the development of open access. The implementation of the model contributes to the formation of a holistic information environment at the university, provides effective mechanisms for accessing scientific resources, and increases the level of information support for users’ educational and research activities. The integration of these components allows the university library to be an active participant in scientific communication and an important element of the digital science infrastructure.

Title: Innovative Model of Scientific and Information Support for University Library Users
