Fragment of Tunic

This is either the front or back side of the upper portion of a tunic. Neck slit would be at top of the design where there is a selvedge visible. The buff and red area decorates the upper chest and shows the beginning of two shoulder bands (clavi) before being cut off. Purple dyed fabric visible on left and right edges as well as between the two clavi. Interlace design at top with some flying shuttle. Lower left medallion contains a tree. Upper two medallions possibly contain musicians. Between these medallions is the same repeated design (men in chariots?). Two riders on prancing horses proceed below the columned arcade. Where the purple areas meet the buff and red figured area, the remains of a raised decorative edging are visible that alternates red, buff, and green yarns.
