8 1/2 (After Fellini) - David Lynch
View through Artsy
David Lynch, one of the most iconic film directors of our time, was also a multimedia artist and writer. Over nearly six decades, he explored painting, photography, sculpture, music, and film. His creative journey led him to Paris, where he worked at the historic Idem printing house in Montparnasse. Lynch and Fellini only met a few times, but their encounters were meaningful. Lynch later paid tribute with a 2018 lithograph series shown at the Fellini Foundation’s cultural space in Switzerland.
