View through CrossRef
Abstract The research (Determining the principles of education strategy in the Kurdistan Region) examines the basic principles involved in defining strategies (education and teaching) within the framework of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. This educational system in the region has undergone rapid changes, constrained by political changes and social and economic resistance. In response to these changes, developing effective educational strategies is crucial to ensuring that the system meets the needs of students, teachers and society. The main objective of this study is to identify general principles that should guide the formulation of the foundations of educational strategies in the Kurdistan Region. These principles include a variety of factors, such as incorporating local cultural values, conforming to international educational standards, and adapting strategies to address the unique political, economic and demographic context of the region. Again, this study examines how these principles can be used to improve the quality, access and sustainability of education in Kurdistan, taking into account the region’s growing diversity and growing needs. Furthermore, the study assesses the barriers and obstacles faced by policymakers, teachers and other stakeholders in implementing educational process strategies. The study critically measures and evaluates the current educational landscape in the Kurdistan Region, exploring success and areas for improvement. The results of this study are expected to provide practical recommendations for developing a more responsive and comprehensive education strategy to better support long-term development goals and improve educational outcomes for future generations in Kurdistan.
