Les Antilles françaises héritent d’une trajectoire coloniale qui structure encore une économie extravertie et fortement dépendante des importations alimentaires. Malgré une position stratégique dans la Caraïbe, leurs ports demeurent des infrastructures périphériques, fragilisées par les vulnérabilités sociales et le narcotrafic. Les filières historiques – canne, rhum, banane – déclinent ou se recomposent, tandis que les initiatives locales d’agroécologie, de diversification et de circuits courts peinent à changer d’échelle. Face aux chocs logistiques, climatiques et fonciers, la transition vers une agriculture territorialisée, intégrant également les ressources halieutiques, apparait comme un levier central de résilience alimentaire.
