Secvențe din Muzeul Satului. Casa Drăguș (1971)

View through Europeana Collections
In the picture is the house of the household from the village of Drăguș, from the Olt Land, brought to the museum in 1936. The house dates from the nineteenth century and consists of the house and the branch of fir wood with a roof of rye jipi. The house, erected on the foundation of stone, with cellar, has the walls of fir beams (carved on four faces and joined in a straight key), plastered and shed. The roof in two pinion waters on the small side, has a rounded tile cover arranged in scales. Along the façade extends the prespa with pillars trimmed into four edges and the railing made of twisted boards. The plan of the house is asymmetrical, due to the different dimensioning of the component rooms: tins with pantry and living room, with clothes pantry. The heating system consists of a high chimney oven (in tin) and a stove with cahle and hob, in the room on the road. The porch of the house, made of oak wood with the roof in two waters with shingles, has the decor carved with ancestral motifs: wolf tooth, rosette, cross
