ANALISIS KINERJA RUAS JALAN SOREANG KOPO KABUPATEN BANDUNG

Jalan Soreang Kopo, Bandung Regency, one of the main roads connecting the Soreang and Kopo areas, often experiences significant congestion, especially during rush hours such as in the morning when people go to work or in the evening when they return home, the volume of vehicles passing through Jalan Soreang Kopo increases sharply. This congestion is largely caused by the high activity of shops along the road. This area is a busy trade center, with various shops, markets, and shopping centers. The purpose of the study was to determine the traffic volume, free flow speed and capacity of Jalan Soreang Kopo, Bandung Regency. As well as to determine the performance of the Soreang Kopo road section, Bandung Regency and alternative improvements to the level of service. The method used in this study is the survey method, namely by conducting direct observations at the research location to obtain data as a reference for conducting analysis. The results of the study showed that the traffic volume on the Soreang Kopo road section of Bandung Regency was quite high where the highest value was 2989 pcu/hour, the free flow speed was 40.23 km/hour, and the capacity was 2494.1 pcu/hour. The performance of the Soreang Kopo road section of Bandung Regency was at level E (degree of saturation 0.97) and alternative improvements were made by adding a lane width of 3 m and providing no-stop signs with the results of the service level at level C (degree of saturation 0.75)
