The chapel is one of the sets of the last Roman baroque collaborating C. Maratti and his disciples Andrea Procaccini and Giuseppe Passeri in the paintings that adorned it today replaced by mosaics (M. Mena, 1991); the pope Pignatelli’s weapons are appreciated, later placed on the side altars; the baptismal font of porphyry came from the tomb of Adriano.
