An introduction to Nextflow

View through CrossRef
Efficient processing of biological data requires tools and workflows that can analyse large datasets in a reproducible, portable, and scalable manner. Workflow managers like Nextflow were developed to address these challenges, simplifying workflow development, optimising resource usage, managing software installations and versions, and running seamlessly across different compute platforms. This webinar will begin by exploring the purpose of Workflow Management Systems and their role in modern computational biology. Through a practical example, we will demonstrate how to transform a set of bash scripts into a fully-fledged Nextflow pipeline that can run across diverse environments, including HPC schedulers and cloud infrastructure.
